Two Cents Forge
Heirloom Ironwork, Forged by Hand
Heirloom Ironwork, Forged by Hand

Two Cents Forge was founded in 2022 by Steve Ziga. His passion for blacksmithing began on his grandfather’s anvil—the first time he heated a piece of steel and struck it with a hammer. That moment sparked a lifelong love of the craft and a commitment to carry forward his family’s artisan traditions while adding his own creative vision.
At Two Cents Forge, every piece tells a story. From artist-inspired sculptures to handcrafted household ironwork, Steve blends traditional blacksmithing techniques with modern tools to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are as practical as they are beautiful.
Steve has honed his skills at some of the most respected blacksmithing institutions in the country, including the Artist-Blacksmith's Association of North America (ABANA), the Mark Aspery School of Blacksmithing, Expressive Metals School of Blacksmithing, Peters Valley School of Craft, and the Glencairn Museum at Bryn Athyn College. As an ABANA National Curriculum Instructor, he is committed to passing on the techniques, traditions, and passion of blacksmithing to future generations.

Two Cents Forge is located in Bedminster Township, Pennsylvania. We're surrounded by the scenic farmlands of Bucks County which are filled with much history and inspiration.
When not working on Two Cent Forge projects, you can find us demonstrating traditional blacksmithing at the Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site in Elverson, PA or at the 1750 Smithy / Moravian Blacksmith Shop in Bethlehem, PA.
Please see our EVENTS section below for our future happenings.

Two Cents Forge takes its name from the saying, ‘to put in one’s Two Cents.’ For Steve, blacksmithing is as much about people as it is about metal — a space where creativity, collaboration, and shared ideas come together under the hammer. Everyone who visits the forge gets to add their Two Cents to the process.
