Heirloom Ironwork, Forged by Hand

What's our Story?

About Us:

At Two Cents Forge, every piece tells a story. From artist-inspired sculptures to handcrafted household ironwork, we blend traditional and modern blacksmithing techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are as practical as they are beautiful.

Two Cents Forge was founded in 2022 by Stephen Ziga.  His passion for blacksmithing began on his grandfather’s anvil, where he heated steel and struck it with a hammer for the first time.  That moment sparked a deep love of the craft and a commitment to carry forward his family’s artisan traditions while adding his own creative vision.

Steve learned his craft through some of the country’s top blacksmithing programs and centers, including the Artist-Blacksmith’s Association of North America (ABANA), Center for Metal Arts, Touchstone Center for Crafts, and Peters Valley School of Craft.

As an ABANA National Curriculum Instructor, he loves sharing what he’s learned, passing down time-honored techniques, and helping others discover the magic of working at the forge.

Learn more about the ABANA National Curriculum at www.abana.org.

Where to Find Us:

Two Cents Forge is in Bedminster Township, Pennsylvania, surrounded by the rolling farmlands of Bucks County—an area full of history and inspiration.

Outside the forge, we can often be found demonstrating traditional blacksmithing at various spots or presenting and selling our work at local craft markets.

Why Two Cents Forge:

Two Cents Forge takes its name from the saying, ‘to put in one’s Two Cents.’ For us, blacksmithing is as much about people as it is about metal — a space where creativity, collaboration, and shared ideas come together under the hammer. Everyone who visits the forge gets to add their Two Cents to the process.
